John Troup is the man who helped make Bayside what it is today. John and Dan went into business together 30 years ago. John’s biggest challenge was to take a mechanic with no business sense and turn him into a business man.
They have a very unusual relationship. Not only are they business partners, but John is Dan’s father-in- law. After all these years, the relationship has become more a father and son team.
John has been involved with every aspect of running the business. In the early days, John was the one who was out front servicing customers while Dan did all the mechanical work.
He is a man of many talents, one of which is accounting and handles most of the financial affairs.
John always believed that the key to success is to do good, honest work, and to believe in yourself.
John loves all types of sports, but his favorite sport is golf. John has spent many hours on the Dennis golf courses.
